Ideal Systems completes installation of Civolution Nexguard Forensic Watermarking System for Hong Kongs TVB 13 Sep 2013
Civolution, the leading provider of technology and solutions for identifying, managing and monetizing content, and Ideal Systems, the leading broadcast media systems integration company in Asia, announce the installation and deployment of the NexGuard forensic watermarking system at Television Broadcast Ltd (TVB) in Hong Kong.
Civolution's NexGuard - Pre-Release technology gives TVB, one of the leading broadcasters in the region, the ability to forensically watermark their valuable video content with a unique identifier, making its worldwide distribution traceable and secure. TVB has chosen to deploy the NexGuard system using the software plug-ins for their Rhozet transcoder farm for a seamless fit in TVB's existing content distribution workflow.
Our distribution partners and their viewers all over the world demand access to TVB content. It is paramount for us to protect our assets, when they are at their most valuable said TVB's Garry Kum, Chief Engineer, Technical Services Department. Civolution's watermarking technology enables TVB to trace and identify the source of potential illegal copies of a given video asset and provides enhanced content security
