Quantum, portable audio codec Prodys, at IBC 2013 Quantum es un potente c dec de audio port til sobre IP con un mezclador de audio incluido y que supone un salto adelante respecto a los c decs de la familia Nomada.
Breathable exhibir en IBC 2013 su nuevo codec port til de audio, Quantum. Esta soluci n hereda la tecnolog a IP de primera clase utilizada en en la familia de codecs de video Ikusnet: Jitter buffer autom tico, r gimen binario adaptativo, bonding de hasta 7 enlaces IP (Ethernet, 3G/4G, Wifi) para asegurar el streaming de audio y obtener la mejor calidad de audio posible.
Un m dulo de comunicaciones inal mbricas tambi n est disponible con hasta cuatro enlaces 3G/4G para la realizaci n del bonding. Este m dulo es externo para conseguir una mejor recepci n.
El equipo dispone de 3 entradas de audio est reo (5 entradas mic/line mono) que pueden ser mezcladas, codificadas y transmitidas formando un stream est reo.
SOLIDSTREAM
IBC ser tambi n una excelente oportunidad para conocer SolidStream, un protocolo de transmisi n desarrollado por Prodys que permite al usuario transmitir el mismo stream de audio en dos redes IP diferentes. Estas redes IP pueden ser Ethernet+Ethernet, Ethernet+3G o 3G+3G. Tambi n es posible usar conectividad 4G donde est disponible.
SolidStream proporciona redundancia y permite la transmisi n de audio de calidad para enlaces STL sobre conexiones IP de bajo coste.
La posibilidad de combinar Ethernet y 3G/4G permite reforzar conexiones IP STL existentes de una manera muy econ mica ya que no ser a necesario construir ninguna infrastructura adicional.
Este protocolo tambi n resulta muy interesante en aplicaciones port tiles ya que hace posible establecer comunicaciones muy fiables usando dos conexiones 3G/4G de diferentes proveedores.
Opus
Prodys tambi n llevar en Amsterdam demostraciones de Opus, un algoritmo de codificaci n totalmente abierto, libre de royalties y muy vers til. Ha sido dise ado teniendo en mente la transmisi n de conversaciones de voz y m sica a trav s de Internet. El algoritmo ha sido estandarizado por el Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) en la RFC 6716.
Prodys ha decidido completar su amplio cat logo de algoritmos de codificaci n a adiendo Opus a sus equipos, teniendo en cuenta su excelente funcionamiento en la codificaci n de voz a reg menes binarios muy bajos.
Por ltimo, destacar que coincidiendo con la la celebraci n del IBC, Prodys va a poner en disposici n de sus clientes una nueva versi n de firmware para sus equipos de la familia ProntoNet.
Esta nueva versi n incluye algunas importantes mejoras como Solidstream, un m dem 4G para contribuciones inal mbricas desde los c decs port tiles Nomada W y IPXL y una interesante soluci n de emergencia que permite conmutar la salida de audio por la reproducci n de un fichero grabado en un dispositivo de memoria USB.
