Bicoastal production company Park Pictures has signed French director Laurent Chanez for U.S. and U.K. representation. All of Chanez' emotionally-charged work - from stirring montages to adrenaline-pumping auto work to striking beauty spots - combines authenticity with artful composition. He has helmed spots for such top brands as Benetton, Nike, Lexus, L'Or al, Hyundai, Sky TV, Pepsi and Peugeot, among numerous others. His widely heralded Unhate for Benetton was featured at the 2013 TED Conference and his spot for French fragrance Flower by Kenzo earned an Epica Award. Beyond commercials, Chanez has directed longer form content, including the short film Forme, which was an official selection at the Buenos Aires Film Festival and the Plantin-Paris Film Festival.

Chanez grew up in Eastern France and studied graphic design, illustration and photograpy at Paris Esag Penninghen School. After graduation, he made the move to Los Angeles and leveraged his design and art direction background to begin directing commercials and music videos. Within a few years, his inspired work gained international recognition, both in European and American markets. Chanez divides his time between Paris and New York and continues to develop his evocative visual style through commercials and other film mediums such as documentaries, short films and art projects.

Founded in 1998 by Executive Producer Jacqueline Kelman Bisbee and acclaimed filmmaker/cinematographer Lance Acord, Bicoastal/London-based Park Pictures has an auspicious track record of discovering and mentoring new talent in both commercials and film.
Park Pictures has earned the highest accolades for their international work, including an Oscar, an Emmy, and 18 Cannes Lions. Lance Acord has earned three DGA nominations for his commercial work and newly-signed directing duo The Mercadantes received a 2015 DGA nomination. Known for their story-driven film work, Park Pictures has been selected for Creativity's Production Company A-List for nearly ten consecutive years. In 2015, co-founder Jacqueline Kelman Bisbee was selected for the 2015 Cannes Lions Film Craft jury and Advertising Ages prestigious Women to Watch honor.
Park Pictures' feature division, headed by Producer Sam Bisbee, Jacqueline Kelman Bisbee and Lance Acord, has produced five feature films, all of which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2010, Park Pictures won an Academy Award for the company's first narrative film, live-action short The New Tenants, starring Vincent D'Onofrio.Its most recent feature, Other People, starring Molly Shannon and directed by Chris Kelly, recently sold to Netflix.
