TeliaSonera acquires Ipeer AB

TeliaSonera has today signed an agreement on the acquisition of Ipeer AB, a leading corporate supplier of cloud and hosting services in Sweden, from Applewise AB. As a result of the transaction, TeliaSonera supplements its product portfolio of network and access services and will be able to offer its business customers in Sweden completely new total solutions.

The acquisition of Ipeer means that we will be able to deliver new types of cloud services supplementing our strong offering of business solutions. Ipeer provides technology and competence in cloud and hosting services for both small and large companies. Thanks to our billion investment in infrastructure, we will be able to offer total solutions allowing our business customers to use the almost unlimited opportunities provided by the digitalization in society, says Malin Frenning, Executive Vice President of TeliaSonera and Head of Region Sweden.

Ipeer AB's net sales amounted to SEK 56.7 million in 2013. The company has 65 employees. The company has operations in Stockholm and Karlstad in Sweden as well as in India.

As from October 1, Ipeer AB is part of Cygate's operations within TeliaSonera Sweden's business operations, and will be part of Cygate's business area of cloud and hosting services. TeliaSonera acquires all of the shares in Ipeer AB. The purchase price is not disclosed. The other companies of the Applewise group are not affected by the acquisition.
