Microspace recently launched two new complements to satellite delivery services. Cellcast is an enterprise quality content delivery solution, and Hostcast is a new video streaming service that perfectly complements satellite delivery.
HostCast utilizes the internet to offer secure delivery of an organization's video content to smartphones, tablets, laptops, or any other internet connected device. The new HostCast streaming video solution provides secure, reliable, and cost effective streaming of your business critical video to users around the globe. The solution is extremely scalable and can support hundreds or even thousands of unique viewers.
This new service handles everything from high bandwidth HD video to legacy SD business video. The video content that needs to be delivered is encoded locally and streamed 24/7 to any location around the world.
CellCast uses wireless technology to provide cost-effective and reliable delivery for delivering content and/or providing a communications path from each site within a network. The service offers strong network management capabilities with Microspace providing its comprehensive managed services.
The new service is available as either a standalone network or a hybrid network. It also provides strong national 4G/LTE coverage and utilizes true enterprise grade equipment bundled into a reasonable per location monthly cost.
This new offering when combined with our extensive suite of satellite services truly makes Microspace a one stop shop for delivery of video, audio and data for enterprise applications, said MCC Director of Enterprise Media Curt Tilly. Tilly is currently in Las Vegas at the INFOCOMM 14 Conference speaking about these products and various media delivery solutions for today's digital signage networks.
