Scene Group releases motion design and animation software Cavalry

Scene Group today announced the release of 2D motion design and animation software Cavalry, following a successful Beta phase during which over seventeen thousand artists signed up to experience what a huge industry shift the software represented.

Written by designers for designers, Cavalry combines the power and flexibility of 3d with the ease of use of 2d and is designed to be fast, innovative and procedural, encouraging a connect anything to anything' attitude. All without expressions, all without opening a node editor.

Cavalry is built for speed and it's the real time playback which sets Cavalry apart from its competitors. Whilst innovative, Cavalry doesn't forget the basics, and has a full suite of traditional animation tools which have been redesigned al owing artists to work more quickly than they ever have. Cavalry's unique and powerful engine enables you to create goal oriented workflows with compel ing outcomes in just a few clicks.

Native features include Rubber Hose, Rig Control, smart data integration via Google Sheets, Dynamic Rendering and variable font support. Tightly integrated, these features save agencies and freelancers time and money by removing the overhead of managing a host of additional plug-ins.

billed annually) for the first year.
