At the 11th Publishers Forum on May 5 and 6, 2014 in Berlin, leading experts and industry thought leaders from the international publishing world will respond to this question as well as others. arvato Systems is again sponsoring the industry event as a partner. More than 350 experts and strategists from the publishing and media sector as well as service companies from these areas are expected at the event. This years theme is "Publishing Power - from Editorial to Market".

For 2014, event organizer Klopotek and partner arvato Systems are introducing some important new innovations: on CEO day, exclusively invited CEOs will attend a "high speed program", where information will be provided in an intensive, compact format. Furthermore, there will be longer and more in-depth keynote presentations as well as multi-day areas of focus. At the conclusion of the conference, the results of work done in the seminars and workshops will be summarized in joint concluding remarks for all participants.

High-caliber speakers are featured throughout the two-day bilingual conference: Dr. Joerg Pfuhl, CEO of Stiftung Lesen, Marion Winkenbach of the Bibliographischen Institut, and Brian OLeary of Magellan Media Partners (US) will discuss the development of the publishing industry and reading habits in the age of digitalization. Participants can choose from additional topics, including "The Role of IT and IT Strategy in Local Publishing Organizations", "The Formula for Success in Multi-Channel Publishing", or "One Digital Solution Across All Platforms".

In addition, visionary Bob Stein will present the alpha version of his social book in which social reading is firmly anchored, and thus provide a glimpse of the future.

The now internationally renowned industry event will be held in the exclusive setting of the Hotel Sofitel.
