The City's fan-favourite character, Nox, is stressed at the moment as her father, Bonga, is in a prison cell and needs bail money.

The Diepsloot community only managed to raise R20 000 of Bonga's R50 000 bail.

NOX BELIEVES BONGA WAS FRAMED Viewers were devastated this week when the money got stolen and blamed it on Pastor Charleston (Chrispen Nyathi).

It turned out that the hitman, Mbazo was the one who stole the money because he doesn't want Bonga to get released.

Bonga (Hamilton Dlamini) saw Mbazo (Nelson Ntombela) killing his old boss and was the only witness at the crime scene.

He's blocking Bonga from getting released because he doesn't want the truth to be revealed.

Nox (Nozuko Ncayiyane) is now back at square one as she hasn't been able to raise any money for her father.

She lied to Bonga and told him that they only raised R20 000 but didn't tell him that it was actually stolen.

Nox is not working at the moment as she was blacklisted by Mgedeza (Mduduzi Mabaso) and has to rely on the community.

Viewers saw her turning to Ntswaki (Phindile Thongo) the corrupt police officer, to assist her in getting money for her father's bail.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM BONGA AND NOX The teasers have stated that Nox will be successful in her attempt to get her father released thanks to Ntswaki.

The TVSA December teasers reveal that Bonga will arrive home to a hero's welcome on Monday, 6 December.

Actress, Dawn Thandeka King, who plays the role of Bonga's wife, Thandiwe, has taken a break from the show again.

King previously revealed on her Instagram account that she had to take a break from the show after getting injured on set.

She rubbished pregnancy rumours and said she was immobile for three months and wasn't able to shoot scenes.
