95 Ningbo enterprises entitled provincial growing SMEs

According to Ningbo Economic and Information Technology Committee, 195 enterprises in Ningbo were included in the 2015 list of growing small and medium-sized enterprises in Zhejiang Province, ranking No.1 in the province.

The provincial Economic and Information Technology Committee selected 976 enterprises as the provincial growing SMEs after screening the list submitted by the provincial Bureau of Statistics and going through such procedures as examination and recommendation, and comprehensive assessment by experts. Finally, 195 enterprises in Ningbo were on the shortlist, including Ningbo Fanya Auto Parts Co. Ltd., Ningbo Phase Motor Technology Co. Ltd., and Ningbo Wonh Industries Co. Ltd.

The issuing of the list of growing SMEs aims to strengthen the cultivation and supervision of growing small and medium-sized enterprises and solve the investment and financing problems encountered by the growing SMEs.

According to the personnel from the municipal Economic and Information Technology Committee, Ningbo will strengthen the tracing services, policy support and cultivation supervision of the growing SMEs, and encourage the growing enterprises to take part in the provincial investment and financing conference for growing SMEs and the municipal docking activities between banking and enterprises. The city will also strengthen the docking between enterprises and financial elements, broaden the financing channels and guide enterprises to actively adjust to the new economic conditions and seek for transformation and upgrading, and make active contributions for the steady growth, structural adjustment and transformational development of Ningbos economy.

Among all the selected enterprises, 114 are equipment manufacturers, accounting for 58% of the total. The others include four enterprises in the environment-protection industry, 10 in the health industry, 14 in the fashion industry, four in the new materials industry, 25 in the information industry and 24 in other industries. The preliminary statistics show that the total business income of the shortlisted enterprises in last year reached 51.07 billion yuan, and the total profit volume reached 6.13 billion yuan, and the tax revenue, 2.54 billion yuan.
