Euro Media Events and Akuentic Partner to Produce Alternative Cinema Content

(07/10/2013) Media engineering company Euro Media Events - a Euro Media France subsidiary specializing in the coverage of all types of cultural and sports events - and Akuentic - an advertising agency specializing in alternative cinema content and which offers a range of online reservation services - will partner to develop event coverage and broadcast activities for the cinema.

On September 1st, 2013, the two parties signed a long-term partnership agreement (up to July 2016) setting out the arrangements for jointly promoting alternative content in French cinemas.

Combining the engineering expertise of Euro Media, a market leader in live event shooting and broadcast (The Voice, Danse avec les Stars, full Ligue 1 soccer coverage for Canal+, etc.) with the Akuentic agencys experience in promoting alternative content (over 50 events handled since 2011, preferred partner of the London Royal Opera House, with its own online reservation system devoted entirely to alternative content), will enable the partners to develop their offering in this rapidly-expanding market, which is still in its infancy in France.

The parties also intend to co-produce events in order to offer ever richer and innovative content to broadcast media and the French public.

Akuentic specialises in the on-line sale of cinema broadcast events. Its expertise covers non-movie content and exclusive advertising services for movie theatres and alternative content distributors. The agencys website www.akuentic.com is designed to provide maximum coverage of big screen events in France, with easy reservation of tickets for opera, ballet and concert performances designed for the cinema.
