Worldwide, Evertz has made more than 80 deployments of Software Defined Video Networking (SDVN) based and header applications cloud, reproduction and production on a large scale. NAB 2017, Evertz expands SDVN solutions with the introduction of its 25GbE product range, providing compatibility with SMPTE 2110 and NMOS IS-04 and computing FPGA accelerated on the evEDGE platform. Innovative Evertz SDVN solutions enable a workflow "end-to-end" based on IP in the stages of production, reproduction and distribution that currently has no rivals in the sector.

Evertz SDVN solution enables global operators multisite interconnect people, facilities and perfectly integrated workflows. Whether its a data center private on-site as a public cloud deployment, SDVN gives total agility operational workflows and allows full use of resources in all the companys media, regardless of geographical limitations. Combined with the platform inSITE of Evertzs analysis and centralized collection of operational data in real time, the SDVN solution can leverage efficiencies and transparency more than any application which is used today.

Scalability and flexibility

Evertz audiovisual content distribution platforms enable the transmission of audiovisual content to any device and over any network from any source. Evertz is presenting the platform 570ITXE as a Universal input gateway IP. The 570ITXE is a unified platform that is able to receive / decode, normalize, and perform multiple encodings (H.264 / JPEG2000) flows without compression (SMPTE RDD 37 and SMPTE 2110) and tablets coming to an installation.

Evertz also exhibits 3482TXE-HEVC, its accelerated and platform software that provides video encoding on multiple standards defined (UHD / 3G / HD / SD) and codecs (HEVC / H.264) with superior quality and in a high-density form factor. Compatible with the distribution of UHD, this encoder ready images of high dynamic range (HDR) provides quality superior video and, at the same time, the lowest latency. Evertz of audiovisual content distribution platforms provide complete solutions to markets of contribution, primary/secondary distribution and OTT.

remote production

For applications of remote production, Evertz premiered at NAB 2017 two new platforms of media for transporting IP gateways. The evRemote and the 3606 will enable to bring remote production capacity to premises, rental spaces and mobile units.

The evRemote platform provides a switching capacity to 120 Gbps with up to twelve encoders and decoders JPEG2000, more compatibility with a wide range of signal types required for the production of remote, including MADI, GPIO, Serial Data and Ethernet. In addition to its different aggregate functions of signals, evRemote contains links to redundant Dual 10GbE integrated links test capability for improved reliability, as well as an optional built-in multiviewer for a simple on-site monitoring and a built-in test signal generator.

Live production over IP

Finally, should not lose sight of in the stand of Evertz NAB 2017 DreamCatcher, a solution based on IP that combines the functionality of several traditional tools of live production in a single intuitive interface. This IP-based platform improves workflows of production taking advantage of Magnum, the system of unified control of Evertz and broadband network architecture, which can be scaled to meet the needs of any production workflow, including capture and playback in 8K. Data Center (SDDC) software-defined architecture provides a flexible design based on IP able to adapt quickly to the changing requirements of the modern facilities of television.
