The Allegro Max card adds a single USB-C 20Gbps port to computers with PCIe card slots, enabling superfast data transfers with the latest USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 portable SSDs.
What It Does:
The Allegro Max USB-C 20Gbps 1-Port PCIe Card is a low-profile PCIe adapter card for Mac , Windows and Linux computers that connects a single USB-C peripheral device. The card installs into an available x4 PCIe card slot and uses drivers built into the operating system software. In addition to the full-height PCIe bracket attached to the Allegro Max card, Sonnet includes a low-profile bracket in the package that enables the card s use in computers that cannot support a full-height card.
