EverSync SP-10 wireless from Cloudvocal

Offers compact wireless solution for pedalboards

Taiwanese audio brand Cloudvocal have announced the availability of a new pedalboard-friendly wireless system that offers connectivity for both instrument pickups and microphones.

The EverSync SP-10 comes housed in a stompbox-style enclosure, aiming to offer a middle ground between simple point-to-point systems and larger high-end rackmount solutions. The transmitter will accept both dynamic and capacitor mics - Cloudvocal's own SonoFlex is of course compatible, as are the likes of DPA's 4099 and the Neumann MCM - and can be used with pickup-equipped instruments thanks to an included CW06 adapter.

At the stompbox end, the system features an onboard EQ that offers up to six bands and three types of reverb, and helpfully, Cloudvocal have made it possible to control the reverb's blend level from the transmitter. Quarter-inch TS and balanced XLR DI outputs are both present, and the pedal features a mute switch that doubles up as a volume boost that can be set anywhere between 1 and 9 dB.

Wireless communication is carried out digitally in the 2.4GHz band, and the company say that the SP-10 will deliver a solid performance even in crowded environments. Power is delivered to the stompbox via USB-C or a 9V DC adapter, while the transmitter boasts up to 10 hours of use on its internal battery - its charging time is quoted as three hours.
