Leader Electronics Corporation Appoints Kozo Nagao as President

Yokohama City, Japan, July 24, 2017 - Leader Electronics Corporation announces the appointment of Kozo Nagao as President with effect from July 1. He succeeds Noboru Kitagawa.

Kozo Nagao joined Japans Ministry of International Trade & Industry (now Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) in April 1997, progressing in April 2001 to Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. (now Price Waterhouse Coopers Strategy Company Limited). In January 2002 he joined Corporate Directions, Inc. which he continues to serve as a partner. He has served as an advisor to Leader Electronics Corporation since July 2014, joining the board in June 2015.

Since the companys establishment in 1954, Leader has contributed innovative measurement technology for sectors of industry such as home appliances, television broadcasting and mobile telephones, Kozo Nagao comments. Progressing with measurement technology as the basis of our business, Leader has evolved its products and supporting services to meet the demands of each era and will continue to pursue various forms of value provision into the future.

In addition to improving the quality of broadcast communication, we are developing new technology for use in IP-based video distribution which is becoming increasingly important across the television and radio industry. 5G mobile telecommunication infrastructure is also expected to become widely adopted in the medium term.
