Was this the worst South African advertisement ever made?

Advertising can be a swing-and-miss for media companies, who sometimes miss their target market completely. We all have fond memories of watching the Dulux dog, or cracked ourselves laughing for Chicken Licken or Nandos.

But this advertisement didn't sit well with locals - or the Advertising Authority of South Africa.

Rewind: Was THIS the worst SA advertisement ever made? A Windhoek Lager advertisement featuring actor Gerard Butler didn't sit well with viewers - or advertisers.

Soon after it aired, the advertisement started getting complaints.
