Met de Sport Experience App kunnen sportliefhebbers hun hart ophalen. Deze app zorgt ervoor dat je helemaal in de sport(wedstrijden) zit. Met de Sport Experience App heeft de klant ook toegang tot het laatste sportnieuws en video's. En tenslotte een TV Gids met een overzicht van alle kanalen waarop sport wordt uitgezonden inclusief kanaal 14.
De app is beschikbaar voor mensen met een Horizon Mediabox en is speciaal ontwikkeld voor kanaal 14. Bij het inschakelen van kanaal 14 verschijnt na 1 minuut de melding van de app in beeld. Via de OK knop op de afstandsbediening wordt de app vanzelf opgestart.
Een steeds rijkere' kijkervaring
Ziggo streeft er naar zijn klanten een steeds rijkere kijkervaring te bieden. Onze klanten willen met onze diensten meer plezier beleven. Zij willen een totaal ervaring hebben binnen de omgeving die wij bieden. De Sport Experience App laat de sportliefhebber letterlijk in de wedstrijd kruipen en biedt de mogelijkheid om met de informatie/ statistieken zelf analyses te maken. Dat verhoogt het plezier van het kijken enorm. De eerste verrijkte wedstrijd' (= met statistieken) is een wedstrijd uit de Engelse Championship tussen Queens Park Rangers en Middlesbrough, die aanstaande vrijdag 1 april wordt uitgezonden om 20:40u op Ziggo Sport, uiteraard op kanaal 14, zegt Peter D rr, commercieel directeur van Ziggo.
TV Apps
Om gebruik te maken van de TV apps is een abonnement met Horizon TV nodig. Via het menu van de Horizon Media Box heeft de klant toegang tot 82 apps voor op tv zoals YouTube, NOS Journaal, Nu.nl en thuisbezorgd.nl. De apps zoals de Sport Experience App zijn standaard te vinden via het menu op de Horizon Mediabox. Downloaden, zoals op een smartphone of tablet, is niet nodig. Alle apps zijn gemakkelijk te bedienen met de afstandsbediening.
Horizon biedt meer
Na populaire functionaliteiten als Replay TV, MyPrime en Horizon Go, introduceert Ziggo nu diverse apps. Horizon klanten beschikken over een grote hoeveelheid Horizon tv-apps. Deze apps worden ontwikkeld om het kijkplezier te vergroten. Onlangs is de kijk met Twitter' app gelanceerd en op korte termijn worden er meer apps verwacht.
