
La escucha de podcasts ha crecido exponencialmente en a os recientes y la oferta period stica es cada vez mayor. As que no debe sorprender que m s del 50% de los millennials y centennials mexicanos tienen al podcast en un rango m s alto de confianza sobre medios tradicionales, incluyendo las noticias en televisi n nacional, la radio y los peri dicos, de acuerdo con el reporte Culture Next de Spotify.
Es un hecho que el podcasting ha cambiado al periodismo, pero la formaci n de los futuros reporteros y profesionales para producir podcast sigue siendo relativamente escasa. Esto motiv el acercamiento de Spotify con IBERO con el fin de reunir a expertos en periodismo y audio digital para crear un curso que aporte las bases para cualquiera que desee incursionar en el formato.
Durante d cadas, los estudiantes de comunicaci n se especializaron en reas como televisi n, radio, o el periodismo. La IBERO fue una de las primeras universidades en M xico que logr consolidar un proyecto radiof nico que ha tenido una influencia indiscutible durante varias generaciones.
Ahora que las reglas cambiaron y surgieron nuevos canales de distribuci n, los estudiantes de comunicaci n y de otros campos, adem s de entusiastas del audio, quieren entender el lenguaje del podcast y del streaming de audio porque s lo as podr n hablarle a su generaci n.
Ese fue el punto de partida que reuni a Spotify y la IBERO para crear un primer curso con el objetivo de generar mayor inter s en el formato y brindar mecanismos que permitan profesionalizar a esta naciente industria.
El director de Comunicaci n Institucional de la Universidad Iberoamericana, Carlos Valle, celebr que, gracias a esta iniciativa de vinculaci n con Spotify, se abra la posibilidad para que personas que conozcan, se interesen o dediquen a la grabaci n de productos sonoros, puedan ampliar su contexto te rico y pr ctico y se especialicen en este campo de generaci n de contenidos para medios audiovisuales y digitales.
En los pr ximos a os, a medida que m s y m s personas se conviertan en creadores de audio, Spotify buscar que los mejores de ellos puedan alcanzar a su audiencia y construir sus carreras en nuestra plataforma, dijo Javier Pi ol, director de Spotify Studios para Latinoam rica. Queremos ser el lugar donde educadores y emprendedores, narradores y periodistas puedan transformar la forma de contar historias a trav s del audio.
El curso en l nea que inicia el 9 de noviembre y tendr un mes de duraci n, consta de 25 horas de clases y 10 conferencias con reconocidos podcasters, periodistas, profesionales del audio como Mar a Jes s Espinosa, directora de Audio de PRISA; Lucina Melesio, periodista y conductora de Un Poco de Contexto; Laura Ubat , productora de Adonde Media; Gabriela Warkentin, titular de As las Cosas de W Radio y Al Habla de El Pa s; Paulina Chavira, conductora en El Caf de la Ma ana; y Catalina May, creadora de Las Raras.
El audioperiodismo permite contar historias de largo aliento, ofreciendo foco y contexto, contando historias que identifiquen al oyente con la problem tica suscitada, dijo a For The Record, Mar a Jes s Espinosa, Directora de Audio de PRISA. Estoy convencida de que las grandes y mejores historias de investigaci n period stica se har n en formato audio.
Lucina Melesio, quien abordar en el curso el tema de la pre-producci n para realizar un p dcast narrativo, comparti que el mayor reto es mantener un balance entre documentarse bien pero de forma r pida y sin perder coyuntura, adem s de encontrar una forma original de contar historias para sorprender a los oyentes.
En este curso quiero que las personas sepan todo lo b sico que siempre quisieron saber sobre podcast en espa ol y que terminen con un abanico de referentes de narraci n sonora en nuestro idioma, comparti Laura Ubat , quien ha producido podcasts como Lado B.
Al finalizar el curso, se abrir una convocatoria para desarrollar cinco podcasts de investigaci n acad mica de la IBERO y las piezas seleccionadas contar n con asesor a de expertos de Spotify durante la producci n.
