Taipei - August 19, 2025 - Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: DLB), a leader in immersive entertainment experiences, and SHOWTIME Cinemas today jointly announced that SHOWTIME Cinemas will be the first exhibitor in Taiwan to adopt Dolby's new combined solution of Dolby Vision Atmos, offering an industry-leading premium sight and sound experience to audiences in Taiwan at their own auditoriums.

The ability for exhibitors to equip their own premium theaters with Dolby Vision Atmos offers them a new way to deliver a Dolby experience to moviegoers. SHOWTIME Cinemas will first implement the new solution in two auditoriums in its new site at the Taipei Dome, one of the city's key landmarks, targeted to open in the third quarter of 2025, and plans to extend this premium experience to more auditoriums in cities like Taichung and Kaohsiung within the next two years, bringing a total of 5 Dolby Vision Atmos auditoriums in Taiwan by then.
