Al-Futtaim Chooses LinkedIn to Transform Talent Acquisition and Engagement

Al-Futtaim will use LinkedIn Talent Solutions to support the company's growth and build its employer brand in the region.

Dubai, UAE - September 17, 2013 - LinkedIn, the worlds largest professional network with more than 238 million members worldwide and over nine million professionals in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and Al-Futtaim, one of the region's largest trading businesses, today announced that Al-Futtaim will use LinkedIn Talent Solutions to support the company's growth and build its employer brand in the region.

Al-Futtaim will also use LinkedIn's flagship product, Recruiter, which allows companies to recruit the best passive candidates, (those not actively looking for work) with unparalleled search and collaboration tools.

According to LinkedIn data, a strong employer brand reduces cost per hire by up to 50 per cent. Eighty three per cent of global recruiting leaders surveyed in LinkedIn's Global Recruiting Trends Report 2013, say employer branding is a critical driver of their ability to hire top talent[1]. LinkedIn's career pages allow businesses to differentiate their business and engage with talent through video, banners and employee spotlights.
