New Super-Narrow Bezel 55" Videowall Displays

(23/09/2013) Panasonic Visual System Solutions division recently announced TH-55LFV5 videowall displays which feature the utmost attention to design and super narrow bezels (bezel to bezel of just 5.3 mm). This new model will complement already existing videowall displays TH-55LFV50 (800 cd/m2 high brightness) designed for public spaces with high environmental light level while the new TH-55LFV5 will fit rental and staging market thanks to its anti-glare surface.

TH-55LFV5 presents a compelling new solution based around insight on industry requirements. With high visibility, beautiful design, high durability and a robust design to avoid breakage, the TH-55LFV5 delivers large, impactful digital signage with a variety of potential applications in the broadcasting industry. Panasonic will showcase its TH-55LFV5 videowall at IBC 2013.

High Visibility for Big Impact

With a 500cd/m brightness, an IPS D-LED panel that provides a wide viewing angle and Anti-Glare surface treatment for reducing reflection of ambient light, high visibility is ensured even in brightly lit studios.

The 5.3mm (0.21 inch) bezel makes vivid, dynamic and natural images that are seamless and continuous in their appearance. In the competitive digital signage environment, LFV5 promises eye catching advertisements with vibrant images reproduced in Full-HD 1080p quality.

Beautifully Designed, Thin and Light

A thin screen depth of just 122mm (4.77inch) along with a minimalist design makes LFV5 ideal for public spaces. Low power consumption is assisted through a LED backlight system that provides improved black levels and contrast ratio.

With a power consumption of just 220 watts at 500cd/m , Panasonic LFV5 videowall displays offer great power consumption efficiency. The rental & staging industry will also appreciate the light 36kg weight of LFV5 making setup fast and efficient.

Easy Installation

LFV5 now comes pre-calibrated for easy installation. So, the installation time is significantly reduced. Users can save the adjusted colour data in the internal memory. The memorised colour settings can be recalled during reinstallation.

Robust Design and High Durability for 24/7 Operation

24 hour, continuous operation is made possible through the use of a highly durable panel and the LFV5 has been designed to minimise breakage in transportation and setup, important for all public display and rental applications. A strong metal frame, up to two times thicker than others on the market, improves durability and robustness. The frame is shock-resistant and can prevent deformation through heat. Additionally, a special packing design that uses polyethylene material enhances durability in transport and protects the unit from vibration.

TH-55LFV5 will be available from November 2013.
