El C rculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid acogi anoche la gala de clausura del Festival Internacional de Cortos Hispasat 4K, organizado por el operador satelital HISPASAT, en la que se dieron a conocer las seis obras premiadas en esta tercera edici n del certamen, uno de los primeros del mundo dedicado a cortometrajes ntegramente grabados y postproducidos en 4K.
El jurado ha estado integrado por: Ignacio Sanch s (director de Negocio de Hispasat, que actu como presidente), la actriz Marian lvarez (Lo mejor de m , La herida, Morir), el director Juan Cavestany (Esa sensaci n, Gente en sitios), la int rprete Nathalie Poza (Julieta, No quiero decir adi s), Jes s Ulled Nadal (director de Cine365 Film), Guillermo Ni o (Senior Manager, Broadcast, OTT y Home Video en Dolby), Edith Mart nez Odriozola (directora del rea de Cultura y Sociedad de TVE), Miguel ngel Doncel (director ejecutivo de Sgo), Santiago Sanz (responsable comercial de dispositivos pticos en Fujifilm Espa a), Javier Vald s (director general de Ad Hoc Studios); y Luis Le n Luri ( rea de programaci n y gesti n de contenidos de Atresmedia).
En el transcurso de la gala, Carlos Espin s, consejero delegado de Hispasat, resalt la rapidez con la que se est implantando la tecnolog a de Ultra Alta Definici n (UHD) y sus excelentes perspectivas en un futuro inmediato. Seg n los datos que ofreci , se estima que en el a o 2025 habr m s de mil canales de televisi n en 4K, de los cuales 785 se transmitir n v a sat lite; y unos 400 millones de hogares contar n para entonces con un televisor en 4K. Tambi n destac el avance tecnol gico que ha supuesto el HDR (Alto Rango Din mico, por sus siglas en ingl s), que permite reproducir una gama de luminancia m s amplia para conseguir un mayor contraste, m s brillo y m s matices de color, logrando un mayor realismo. Espin s subray el papel de Hispasat como impulsor de esta tecnolog a de Ultra Alta Definici n desde sus or genes, y agradeci la excelente acogida que ha tenido el Festival Internacional Hispasat 4K tanto entre los cortometrajistas como entre las empresas del sector. Un total de 127 cortometrajes procedentes de 17 pa ses diferentes han presentado sus trabajos a concurso en esta tercera edici n del certamen, abierta a obras de cualquier g nero realizadas a partir del 1 de enero de 2015, con una duraci n m xima de 25 minutos.
Durante la ceremonia se proyectaron en 4K los seis cortometrajes premiados, as como la copia digitalizada en 4K del cl sico de 1914 Clarita y Peladilla en el f tbol, de Benito Perojo. scar Graefenhain, director del ICAA (Instituto de la Cinematograf a y de las Artes Audiovisuales, en el que se integra la Filmoteca Espa ola) agradeci a RTVE e Hispasat este trabajo, realizado en el marco del festival, con el que han querido contribuir a la recuperaci n del patrimonio f lmico espa ol.
La gala cerr brillantemente una jornada dedicada al cine y la tecnolog a 4K. A lo largo de todo el d a se celebraron diversas actividades, como el esperado preestreno en Madrid de The Maus, de Yayo Herrero, pel cula rodada y postproducida ntegramente en 4K, o diversas mesas redondas sobre los distintos aspectos que implica la utilizaci n de esta nueva tecnolog a.
El Festival Internacional Hispasat 4K renov un a o m s su compromiso con los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidas, haciendo una menci n especial al cortometraje Palabras de caramelo, de Juan Antonio Moreno Amador, por su promoci n de los valores humanos.
