Telekom and the Hungarian Olympic Committee strengthen their 20 years partnership by signing an agre

Another four year long cooperation with the Hungarian Olympic Committee

First in Hungary: Platinum level sponsorship to the Hungarian Olympic Committee

Today Telekom and the Hungarian Olympic Committee signed a cooperation agreement of key importance from the point of view of the future of Hungarian sports. The agreement valid until the end of 2016 outlines that Magyar Telekom offers the wide array of its telecommunication services and as Platinum level sponsor the company assists the renewed Hungarian Olympic Committee (HOC) achieving its objectives and the preparation of athletes to attend the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

As part of the market leader telecommunication company's good corporate citizenship, Magyar Telekom was sponsoring the Hungarian Olympic Committee and the Hungarian Team already in 1996 in Atlanta, followed by the Games in Sydney, Athens, Beijing and London. The cooperation of Telekom and the Hungarian Olympic Committee going was to two decades is considered by both the sponsors and sponsored successful and mutually beneficial, the extension of the agreement clearly expresses the trust and appreciation of one of the most significant sponsors of Hungarian sports.

Further to the years of Olympic Games, in years between it is the task of the Hungarian Olympic Committee to orchestrate and coordinate tasks emerging in Hungarian sports through its programs, professional expertise, appropriately managing state funds and last but not least by gaining sponsors to provide for conditions to successfully performing at Olympic Games to come.
