NEW YORK, NY - (January 16, 2025) - Tribeca Films, the distribution label from Tribeca Enterprises and Giant Pictures, today announced that it has acquired Chazz Palminteri's A Bronx Tale: One Man Show for worldwide distribution and dropped the never-before-seen trailer. The film will be released across video-on-demand (VOD) platforms and in select theaters on January 28. Audiences can pre-order the film on Apple TV and Amazon and buy tickets to an advance screening with Palminteri on January 28 at Quad Cinema.

A Bronx Tale: One Man Show, starring, written, and directed by Palminteri, is a new film of the beloved one-man autobiographical stage play that inspired the 1993 motion picture. In the one-man show, which has toured the country and played to sold-out audiences since 1989, Palminteri portrays all 18 characters. A Bronx Tale: One Man Show world premiered at the Tribeca Festival's De Niro Con celebration in June 2024 and had its international premiere at the inaugural Tribeca Festival Lisboa in October 2024.

It was important to me to make this film, A Bronx Tale: One Man Show, so that future generations can learn the lessons of not wasting their talent, said Palminteri. See it come to life on screen like never before - up close and personal.

Tribeca Films will also bring the 1993 motion picture, and Robert De Niro's directorial debut, back to theaters this year. This follows Tribeca Films' 2023 release of the 30th anniversary edition of A Bronx Tale on 4K UHD Blu-Ray and VOD platforms.

A Bronx Tale is woven into the fabric of Tribeca, said Jane Rosenthal, Co-Founder and CEO of Tribeca Enterprises, and producer of A Bronx Tale. Its only fitting that the film adaptation of Chazz's live one-man show will reach a new, younger audience 35 years after making its stage debut as the latest Tribeca Films title.

Today, Palminteri also released 2025 tour dates for his live show, allowing audiences the opportunity to enjoy all components of A Bronx Tale this year: the live stage play, the new film, and the 1993 motion picture classic.

A Bronx Tale: One Man Show will stream on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube Movies & TV, Fandango At Home, Xfinity On Demand, DirecTV, Kanopy, Kinema, Tubi, The Roku Channel, Peacock, Pluto TV, Plex, Sling TV, XUMO, as well as the Tribeca Channel. A Bronx Tale: The Original One Man Show - An autobiographical piece that tells the story of Chazz Palminteri's childhood in the Bronx during the 1960s. The narrative centers on a young boy named Calogero who witnesses a murder and is subsequently taken under the wing of a local mob boss named Sonny. The story explores themes of loyalty, family, and the crossroads between a life of crime and a more traditional path. Palminteri portrays over a dozen different characters, all performed by Palminteri himself. Written, directed, produced by, and starring Chazz Palminteri.
