VidiGo and never.no will display their plug & play social media TV solution at the 2014 NAB Show. The social media workflow is a combined Social Management and Graphics workflow to deliver efficient and cost effective social media capabilities for all broadcasters.
The workflow enables end-to-end interactive television formats for broadcasters with fast, open and appealing graphic capabilities. Operators can control incoming social media content with never.no's Social TV platform Story and effortlessly publish on air, with the VidiGo Social Media Hub.
Broadcasters are already benefiting from the plug & play integration of never.no's Social TV platform Story with the VidiGo Social Media Hub for cost effective social media solutions. Two recent success stories are the implementations at major German broadcaster SWR and Simply New. SWR played a large role in the development of the Social Media Hub and was the first to use the Social Media Hub workflow in live broadcasts on Eins Plus last year.
On January 16th, YouTube Space LA held a 6-hour live stream promoting the new healthcare initiative Tell a Friend Get Covered'. Simply New needed broadcast and Social TV software that combined professional graphics with live social media content. The Social Media Hub was the perfect solution to integrate social media with their live stream.
Lars Lauritzsen, CEO, never.no said: We're very encouraged by the early traction of our combined product offering. Customers just love the ease of use and cost effectiveness of the Social Media Hub and Story ensemble .
never.no's Social TV platform, Story, is designed for news, entertainment and sports producers tasked with creating the social segments for today's events. Story's easy-to-use visual interface allows content producers to intuitively gather, manage and publish social content on air. Story can be used to effortlessly aggregate user-generated and geolocated content from social media directly into programming and advertising. Additionally, Story can drive companion apps that enable viewers to interact with their televisions and adverts using an iPad, tablet, PC, or smartphone
VidiGo's expertise lies in the enhanced ability to connect to online environments by offering a native connection with web technologies such as Flash and HTML. For broadcasters, this means a fast and open platform that supports graphics while also supporting traditional broadcast protocols.
Reinout Lempers, CCO VidiGo: With our knowhow of broadcast graphics and never.no's knowhow of social media we have been able to develop a real plug & play workflow for social media. With the integration we offer a cost-effective and efficient solution for every broadcaster.
The integration of the VidiGo Social Media Hub and never.no's Story will be demonstrated during the NAB Show at both the never.no booth (SL8027) and the VidiGo booth (SL12105).
