MSE Names New Account Team Member - Daniel Flores

Matthews Studio Equipment, manufacturer of specialized support for the entertainment industry recently named Daniel Flores as their Account representative. Flores' territory will be the Western USA and Latin America.

Danny joined us several years ago in our shipping department, says Robert Kulesh Vice President Sales and Marketing for MSE. We quickly saw how well he took to our company's products and philosophy and moved him into scheduling. His ability to work with company veterans, newly hired, and most critical our customers when they called if for service told us we'd made the right decision. Although he will be missed in shipping, his new position representing MSE in two key territories is critical for both our company and our customers.

When I joined Matthews, I knew nothing about grip and lighting equipment but thanks to the people behind this company I quickly learned what quality support equipment is all about, says Flores. This company is all about family and producing good product for the entertainment industry family. It's going to be easy to introduce new clients to MSE's specialized equipment, whether it's our core products such as C-stands and clamps, or some of our newest specialty items.

As I begin talking to people throughout the Western United States and Latin America, I find a real need and interest in a variety of camera support. Our FloatCam sliders as well as the new Matthews Slider are quickly finding new homes. The new Macalu Head, our lightweight remote head designed for live action, timelapse and visual effects that works with a joystick connected via WiFi to an iPad mini/2&3 or iPhone is generating interest. So is the simple but extremely effective LazySuzy, which won a Black Diamond Award at NAB 2013 is going to give our clients more creative opportunities through the use of the articulated double-swivel platform, allowing them to position the camera anywhere within a 25-inch diameter without repositioning the dolly, tripod or car mount.
