Quantum Exec Alex Grossman Will Participate in Panel on "Storage and Archive Perspectives: On-Site and in the Cloud" and Present During "SVG College: New York" Workshop
Quantum Corp. (NYSE: QTM) today announced its title sponsorship of the 2014 SVG Summit, "The Business of Sports Production," taking place Dec. 15-16, 2014, at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City. Expected to draw more than 1,000 leading figures in the production and distribution of sports content, this annual membership meeting of the Sports Video Group features an array of presentations and workshops, as well as dozens of technology exhibitions.
Panel Discussion on Storage and Archive of Sports Video Assets
Alex Grossman, Quantums vice president of media and entertainment, will participate in a panel discussion moderated by IMT Vice President Tom McGowan, examining the future of media storage and archiving technology related to video asset management and how these products will evolve in the coming years. From on-site spinning disk, solid-state, and tape-based storage systems to the rapidly increasing use of a cloud-based infrastructure, Grossman and fellow panelists will discuss the current and future state of storage and archiving solutions.

Presentation on Asset Management in the College Sports Environment
