The Korean KBS Radio equips its new main control with Lawo Fourteen MkII Nova17 routing systems will be part of the new infrastructure KBS in combination Vistool for visualization and control.

As part of an upgrade process, Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) has installed new equipment Lawo in your living master (MCR) control over a new server-based infrastructure, replacing technology over ten years. In total, fourteen MkII Nova17 routing systems will be part of the new infrastructure KBS in combination Vistool for visualization and control.

The concept behind this project is to establish a fully redundant central issue, along with an easy to use management and an efficient and sophisticated performance monitoring and alarm.

The KBS engineering team is impressed by customizing the user interface Vistool regarding design functions. The system status of the seven programs is monitored by two log servers via SNMP and Korean software, AD-Soft. This is controlled by an APC solution Korea, while the system files by French company has been installed Dalet.

The new infrastructure will allow teams to make the station configurations without expertise, and enjoy an efficient, intelligent and well designed layout.

The system is being tested during the winter months, rising in the air at different stages throughout this year.
