Hologram tables to be rolled out in 2019

Last year, an Australian-based technology company called Euclideon announced it had created the world's first multi-user hologram arcade machine, in which the objects float in the air all around the table. Unlike VR/AR no headsets are needed, the device uses lasers to make the objects and users wear sunglasses these separate the light so they can see the objects floating in the air about 90cm off the surface of the table.

The creators have opened the first giant hologram arcade centre on Australia's Gold Coast, the centre is called Holoverse ( hologram + universe ).

Other Holoverse centres are opening in Oman and Switzerland in December. Two of the three major arcade chains will be rolling out Holoverse centres all over Australia in 2019.

The Hologram Arcade Tables are being released with 12 games. These including holographic planes flying through the air, crocodiles and fish that appear to jump off the hologram table, holographic crane games and many more.

Normally, a mobile phone game can take a team of 20 50 people nearly a year to create. Euclideon has produced 12 games in 8 months, and each game was created with a team of 1-3 people.The reason for this great increase in speed is due to Euclideon's AI programming system. Not one line of code in any of Hologram Arcade Table game was written by a human being. Artists and designers simply answer questions about what they want and the AI writes the code for them.
