Ningbo aims to reach foreign trade value of $08. billion in 04

The Ningbo government held a briefing for Ningbo's foreign trade situation and policies on August 15. According to the briefing, the Ningbo government is aiming to realize a total foreign trade volume of $108.2 billion in 2014.

According to statistics released from the briefing, the total amount of Ningbo's foreign trade in the first 7 months of 2014 was $59 billion, which means a foreign trade volume of $10 billion per month must be reached for the remainder of this year.

Ningbo aims to increase its export trade value by 10% and import trade value by 4% year on year, and a batch of policies will be launched to help realize it. According to the briefing, 14 regulatory policies innovated in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone will be launched at Ningbo Customs from next week; The Ningbo Inspection and Quarantine Bureau will also learn from the international advanced single window system and Shanghai Free Trade Zone's experience in building a single window system, and launch it's own with Ningbo characteristics; A policy of a short-term export credit insurance of $15.5 billion to $16 billion will be launched to service around 1,500 small companies. Besides, a batch of government departments will join together to promote the development of cross-border e-commerce trade.
