Wayne, N.J., April 6th, 2026 Phantom High-Speed announces the release of PCC 4.1, a re-architectured version of its popular Phantom Camera Control software platform. Developed with efficiency and speed in mind for multiple cameras, PCC 4.1 builds on previous versions by adding more innovative features and improvements to help imaging technicians and researchers manage their entire workflows to the fullest extent.
Faster, More Intuitive and Scalable

Advanced multi-camera control. Users can capture data across multiple camera setups in real time. Capabilities include support for up to 64 cameras, optimized UI layouts for up to six views and synchronized capture and playback.
GPU-accelerated live view and playback. Image processing takes place at the GPU to deliver higher refresh rates and resolution with minimal lag. Thumbnail Mode reduces data loads for real-time responsiveness.
Modern, streamlined UI. An enhanced Qt-based interface allows users to quickly add features as needs arise, and it helps reduce operator error and training time.
Project-based workflow. Users can store and recall full system configurations to significantly reduce setup times.
Comprehensive in-program help and tooltips. Each major control comes with embedded help files and contextual tooltips, saving setup and training time.
With these new features, PCC 4.1 gives Phantom camera users a faster, more intuitive and scalable environment for all of their advanced imaging needs. For example, its project-based configuration feature simplifies multi-day and multi-week setups and ensures they remain consistent and available. Multi-camera synchronization gives researchers complete camera state awareness on a single screen, allowing them to effectively manage every camera's key parameters including exposure, frame rate, trigger mode, resolution, sync state and more. And, the GPU acceleration and thumbnail capabilities ensure lag-free playback even for demanding high-resolution or multi-camera experiments.
