Cassper Nyovest honoured the late Riky Rick and DJ Somebody during the full circle-theme concert #FillUpMmabathoStadium, in Mafikeng, on Sunday 4 December 2022.

Fans who attended the concert took to social media to share Cassper's tribute performance. Abuti Fill Up went on to perform DJ Sumbody 2019 summer hit Monate Mpolaye and Riky's Keep Shining.

Cassper lost his two close friends in a period of 10 months, first being Riky Rick and most recently, DJ Sumbody. He has expressed his pain on Twitter following their loss.

CASSPER NYOVEST: FILL UP A SUCCESS News24 reports that the Fill Up Mmabatho Stadium was a resounding success, despite the challenges Nyovest faced when he started promoting the annual event.

Media personality and one of Cassper's close friends, Somizi Mhlongo, hosted the concert featuring guest performances by Nasty C, Anatii, Musa Keys, Makhadzi and OkMalumKoolKat.

Nyovest took to Twitter to thank the North West Department of Arts and Culture.

THE FILL UP DREAM The #FillUpMmabathoStadium is the sixth instalment of Nyovest's first trademark Fill Up concert, which started at The Dome in 2015 with 20 000 fans in attendance.

He then filled up Orlando Stadium in 2016, followed by the FNB Stadium in 2017. He then took his concert it to KwaZulu-Natal to fill up Moses Mabhida in 2018 and the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in 2019.

The Banana ba Stout hitmaker took this year's Fill Up to his hometown in Mafikeng at the Mmabatho Stadium.

One tweep was amazed by Nyovest's creative stunts during his Fill Up performances.
