The Indian Premier League is the most popular sports league in India, and when you account for the fact that more than 500 million viewers regularly watch cricket matches from India globally, it may very well be the most watched sports league on the entire planet. So when the IPL decided to geographically move its 2020 season to the United Arab Emirates during the COVID-19 pandemic, it required Star Sports Network to figure out new workflows to produce their live coverage.
