
Stephano Kim Joins Fox Corporation as Chief Strategy and Operations Officer, Advertising Sales Newly Created Role Will Bridge Strategy and Operations Teams New York, NY - February 19, 2025 - Veteran media executive Stephano Kim has joined Fox Corporation (Nasdaq: FOXA, FOX) as Chief Strategy and Operations Officer, Advertising Sales reporting to Jeff Collins, President, Advertising Sales, Marketing and Brand Partnerships.
In this newly created role, Kim will serve as a key strategist for FOX Ad Sales, overseeing Advertising Sales Strategy, Solutions, Platform Partnerships and Operations teams. In this capacity, he will work closely with Collins and the broader ad sales organization to evolve FOX's go-to-market strategy. This includes building out new ad technology capabilities and consumer ad experiences resulting in unique opportunities for advertisers to connect their brands to FOX's world-class content. He will also work closely with the business units to increase overall operating leverage across the organization.
I've had the pleasure of working with Stephano for many years and have consistently been impressed with his depth of knowledge across a variety of disciplines and ability to apply it to create clear, strategic plans for organizations and execute those plans to deliver world-class results, said Collins. I am looking forward to having him join the first-rate Ad Sales team here at FOX.
I hadn't given any consideration to returning to a full-time position at a major media company until I started working with Jeff and his team. I believe FOX is incredibly well-positioned to make significant strategic bets in this quickly evolving advertising marketplace, said Kim. I'm excited to partner with Jeff and his talented team to accelerate the evolution they began last year when Jeff was appointed to his role.
Kim has a wide-ranging background which includes serving as a board director, strategic advisor, entrepreneur, and technology executive who has created and innovated businesses in e-commerce, data science & analytics, digital marketing & media, consumer marketplaces, healthcare and B2B software platforms.
As a strategic advisor and operator, he has worked with several private equity and venture capital funds to increase growth and build value in their portfolio companies.
Most recently he operated out of his two venture studios, including Selas Ventures, which is dedicated to the advancement of innovation within the U.S. Department of Defense where he will continue to serve in an advisory capacity.
From 2014 to 2019, he served in several roles at AT&T/WarnerMedia, including Chief Strategy Officer of Turner Broadcasting, Chief Data Strategist at WarnerMedia, and EVP Corporate Strategy & Development ATT WarnerMedia. During this time, Kim was responsible for restructuring and modernizing several business functions across Turner while building direct-to-consumer capabilities across WarnerMedia that now support HBOMax. He was also instrumental in the merger and integration between TimeWarner and AT&T, and co-led corporate strategy, global innovation, and venture investments post-merger.
Kim earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Cornell University, where he has served on both the Cornell University Council as well as the Advisory Board to the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. He also holds MBA, with honors, from Columbia Business School and serves as adjunct faculty at Columbia University's School of Professional Studies.
