(NYSE: DLB) announced today that PT Smartfren Telecom, Tbk (Smartfren), an advanced mobile telecommunications provider in Indonesia, will feature Dolby Digital Plus™ in its wide range of Android™ smartphones and tablets. The Andromax G, U2, and Z are just a few of the Smartfren mobile models equipped with Dolby Digital Plus technology. This announcement marks the first Dolby project with an Indonesian mobile operator and affirms Dolbys commitment to addressing the industrys rapidly growing demand for HD entertainment on portable devices.
