On Wednesday's episode (Wednesday 22 September) of One Magic's The River, the news that Paulina (played by Tango Ncetezo) lost her baby was shared by her husband, Thuso (Presley Chweneyagae). To say she was a broken woman would be an understatement

This is even more heartbreaking because the viewers know that her baby is still alive and her heartbreak is all thanks to her sister-wife, Angelina (Nokuthula Ledwaba).

ANGELINA SWAPS THE BABIES Thuso's second wife, Angelina, has done what most women fear: Swapping babies. Angelina's baby passed on and she decided to swap her baby's tag with that of Paulina's baby.

The reasons behind Angelina switching babies are purely selfish. She wants to save her marriage to Thuso and viewers feels this is unfair to Paulina.

Image via The River screenshot It seems it has now become the norm that when Paulina is about to get the happy ending, something bad always happens and Angelina is never on the wrong side of the law. She never suffers the consequences at most and viewers are not happy with the writers.
Some of them have threatened to stop watching until all the wrong that has been done to Paulina is rectified.

Paulina killed Angelina s baby before he was even born, with that laxative, but that doesn t give her the right to swap the babies although I think she forgot about that ordeal. #TheRiver1Magic

WHEN IS PAULINA GOING TO CATCH A BREAK? After losing everything and everyone in her life, Paulina is now forced to mourn a baby that is not hers. Her heart is beyond broken and there is nothing to help her heal from what she thinks happened.
Viewers are hoping that Paulina's baby refuses Angelina's breast, gets sick and is then admitted at a hospital. This is so blood tests can be done with the hope of Paulina finally finding out the truth.
One thing Angelina is delaying is mourning her child. There are a lot of questions that need to be answered, there are a lot of theories that are being thrown around. The main one though is that Paulina finds out that her child is still alive and that Angelina swapped their babies. The real question is will Paulina forgive Angelina should she find out what she did? Will she see that the baby that Angelina is busy caressing is actually hers?
