Actor, Nay Maps who is popularly known for his roles on The Queen and Uzalo, just joined the cast of SABC2's most-watched soapie Muvhango.

Maps will play the role of a swindler and Rendani's Mukwevho's (Innocentia Manchidi) new boyfriend, Tshireletso.

The show hinted at his manipulative ways in last night's episode when he hired criminals to mug Rendani.

He made sure Rendani was alone when they stole her handbag, and got it back for her to seem like a good guy.

MAPS ON MUVHANGO', IMBEWU: THE SEED', UZALO', AND SKEEM SAAM' Maps is a typecast actor who plays heartless and ruthless characters that take advantage of other people's hard-earned money.

His character, Tshireletso did his research on Rendani before meeting her last night and knows that she's royalty.

He also knows she just inherited her late husband's money and she's lonely

Tshireletso is charming, persuasive and looks like he's got his life together

But he's out to swindle millions out of Rendani and she's going to have a repeat of her disastrous marriage to Hulisani (Khathu Ramabulana).

Maps is currently playing the role of Zenzele Maphumulo on e.tv's soapie Imbewu: The Seed where he's also a crook.

Skeem Saam and Uzalo viewers will remember his crossover role as the ruthless Mxolisi on both shows.

He escaped prison in Uzalo, fled to Mozambique, made his way to Limpopo, and appeared on Skeem Saam to cause havoc.

Mxolisi stole money from the residents of Turfloop with the help of his girlfriend, Nomasonto (Buhle Mazibuko).
