NEP Studios Expands Offerings in Midtown Manhattan

NEP Studios, a division of NEP Group, Inc., the global leader of outsourced broadcast and live event production solutions, announced today it will expand its lineup of studio facilities through an agreement with Manhattan Center (http://mc34.com). Through the agreement, two state-of-the-art studios, complete with full control rooms and amenities, will be available in desirable midtown Manhattan.

NEP has always gone out of its way to help clients find suitable studio space for their shows, said Barry Katz, SVP and managing director of NEP Studios. With many studios tied up with long-term clients, were happy to add Manhattan Centers studios TV-1 and 2 to our offerings. The stages and studios boast the latest technology plus an excellent staff. Working together, we can now provide NEPs clients with even more inventory and the ability to do one-stop-shopping when they need a stage in New York. And, clients know theyll get the same top-level NEP service theyre accustomed to.

With a dedicated street-level entrance located two blocks from Penn Station on 34th street and 8th Avenue, Manhattan Centers TV-1 studio provides easy access for audiences up to 200 people within a spacious 3,800 square-foot production stage. Support space for TV-1 includes five dressing rooms, hair/makeup, wardrobe, one green room, audience holding area and 12,000 square-feet of office production space. Smaller than TV-1, the TV-2 studio is the space for corporate events and talk shows, having hosted a number of nationally broadcast shows. TV-2 features two green rooms, one makeup room and one green room with an additional makeup station.
