Martin Burkhalter, CEO, to Step Down

After ten successful and outstanding years with Vizrt, the last six in the position of CEO, Martin Burkhalter is to step down as CEO of the company, effective as of June 1, 2016.

The new CEO is expected to be announced following the NAB tradeshow.

Martin Burkhalter joined Vizrt in May 2006. Shortly after joining the company, Martin Burkhalter was appointed as Chief Operating Officer and in May 2010 took over the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Torben Munch, Chairman of the Board of Directors stated: "We all acknowledge Martins outstanding service to Vizrt. His tenure has been characterized by consistent growth and expansion. He has led Vizrt to its dominant position in the industry. Vizrt is recognized today for its innovation, leading products and its high caliber service to customers. Vizrts unique customer oriented culture is firstly to be attributed to Martin and the model he has set for management and employees alike.

Martin has further managed a smooth ownership transition of Vizrt, from a publicly listed company to be owned by Nordic Capital. I am pleased that Martin has accepted to continue and provide services in an advisory role to Nordic Capital and the Board of Directors and I am confident that both the company and its clients are to continue and benefit from such services.

The Board of Directors has with immediate effect promoted Fran ois Laborie to Chief Operating Officer and Stephan W rmlin to Chief Commercial Officer. This will further strengthen the existing management team and secure a continuation of Vizrt's commitments to its customers and partners.

We expect to announce the new Chief Executive Officer within the next few weeks."

Martin Burkhalter stated: I think this is the perfect time for me and for Vizrt to make this change. The company is in very good shape and the new owner, Nordic Capital, has worked closely with the management team to get a deep insight and understanding of our business and our customer base. Together we have worked on the company's strategy, which will be executed by the existing and very experienced management team, headed by a new CEO. It has been a privilege for me to be part of an exceptional team over the last ten years and I am convinced that Vizrt will continue to be the innovative company it is known for, bringing highly relevant and innovative products and solutions to its customers.
