TNT Sports Preps Wall-to-Wall Coverage of FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 from Sept. 4-13

TNT Sports will have wall-to-wall coverage of the upcoming FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026, presenting all 36 games across TNT, truTV and HBO Max as the world's top women's national teams compete to become world champions in Berlin, Germany, from September 4-13. Coverage includes 17 games - including all of USA Basketball's matchups - on TNT and truTV, with all 36 tournament games streaming live on HBO Max.

The tournament headlines TNT Sports' multiyear agreement with FIBA for exclusive U.S. English-language broadcast rights to its marquee men's and women's tentpole events, a slate that also includes the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 and FIBA EuroBasket 2029. The World Cup coverage follows TNT Sports' presentation of the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournament in March.

Eleven-time champion USA Basketball enters Berlin looking to extend one of international basketball's most dominant runs. The Americans secured their place in the field with a perfect run through the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournament in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in March, led by tournament MVP Caitlin Clark alongside Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese.

USA Basketball confirmed its 12-player World Cup roster on Aug. 6, pairing a new wave of World Cup first-timers with a decorated veteran core. Qualifying Tournament MVP Caitlin Clark, set to make her FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup debut, headlines the newcomers alongside Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese, while 2024 Olympic gold medalists A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Napheesa Collier, Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young anchor the roster. Aliyah Boston and Rhyne Howard complete the group selected by Women's National Team managing director Sue Bird. Guided by head coach Kara Lawson, the Americans will chase a fifth consecutive FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup title - and 12th overall - when group play tips off in Berlin.

All 16 teams will open group play on Friday, September 4, highlighted by a showdown between FIBA's top-ranked USA Basketball and No. 4 China at 8 a.m. ET on TNT, truTV and HBO Max. USA Basketball continues group play against Italy on Sunday, September 6 at 2:30 p.m., before closing the opening round against Czechia on Monday, September 7 at 2:30 p.m., with both games on TNT and HBO Max. The knockout stages run September 8-13, culminating with the Final on Sunday, September 13 at 1:45 p.m. ET on TNT, truTV and HBO Max.

Every televised game window will be surrounded by pregame and postgame studio programming, with additional coverage, analysis and highlights across TNT Sports' owned-and-operated platforms, including Bleacher Report, House of Highlights and B/R W. The FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 further bolsters TNT Sports' growing basketball portfolio, which also includes BIG EAST men's and women's basketball, Big 12 men's basketball, the joint presentation of the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship alongside CBS Sports, the Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas and Unrivaled.
