NOSIPHO'S HUSBAND GETS KILLED The Uzalo TVSA April teasers reveal that Nkunzi (Masoja Msiza) will be the first one to find his son Pastor Gwala (Menzi Biyela) dead.

The Wednesday 5 April teaser reads: Nkunzi sees his dead son .

He will get killed a month after Gwala's wife Nosipho Gwala kills her newborn baby Muzi, who she conceived with Mondli.

Muzi has a medical emergency and Nosipho doesn't want to take any chances. Muzi is rushed to a critical unit.

The TVSA Uzalo March teasers reveal that the Gwala and Mondli will bury their son on Thursday 30 March and Nosipho will stay in a robot mode after the funeral.

The teasers indicate that his son Nkazimulo will act funny after his death, though it is unclear at this stage why Gwala will die or who will kill him.

Monday 10 April 2023 reads: Nkazimulo's behaviour raises many eyebrows.

PASTOR GWALA LEAVES UZALO' The SABC1 soapie Uzalo revealed in November 2022 that actors Nompilo Maphumulo and Menzi Biyela, who play husband and wife Pastor Gwala and Nosipho Gwala have exited the show.

Uzalo producer King David Mukwevho told Sowetan that they're incredibly honoured to have worked with the actors :

We are incredibly honoured to have worked with such talents. Nompilo has been an integral part of Uzalo since season one, she has brought us a remarkable rendition of Nosipho that the fans will never forget, and Menzi's portrayal of Pastor Gwala has been nothing short of exemplary. Our viewers love them, and so do we. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

It is unclear at this stage how Maphumulo, who's been with the soapie since 2015 will exit the SABC1 show.
