In our latest video interview, TVBEurope editor Jenny Priestley sits down with Grass Valley president and COO Jon Wilson to discuss his move to the company, the power of the cloud and what Grass Valley has in store for NAB Show 2024.

Among the topics of conversation are the company's transformation over the past few years, how Grass Valley is leveraging artificial intelligence, and how it is listening to customers as it considers how the broadcast technology ecosystem will look in 5-10 years.

Wilson also gives his thoughts on the upcoming summer of sport, explaining that he expects broadcasters and rights holders to employ a mix of traditional technology but with fewer people on the ground, as well as new technologies that enable personalisation and bespoke channels.

He reveals how Grass Valley is using AI internally for development and is in the early stages of mapping out how AI will make a difference for both its customers and products.
