The two companies bring a unique spin to traditional coverage looking at how athletes use sports technology to significantly improve performance

INSIGHT TV, a world leading UHD HDR broadcaster and producer of native UHD content covering action sports, entertainment and lifestyle, has announced a major production partnership with CJ E&M, South Korea's largest media conglomerate. INSIGHT TV and CJ E&M are co-producing two unique one-hour films that will examine how athletes in PyeongChang use technology to maximise their performance. The films will be distributed on CJ E&M's South Korean network, across Europe on INSIGHT TV's channel and globally on INSIGHT.TV.

As the world's largest provider of UHD 4K HDR content INSIGHT TV is well positioned to partner with CJ E&M for this exciting project. It will allow viewers to get behind-the-scenes footage showing how South Korea's winter sports athletes prepare for extremely competitive events and how they maximise their ability using state-of-the-art sports equipment. A classic example is short-track speedskating. In this event multiple skaters (typically between four and six) skate on an oval ice track. The South Korean skaters use a legal curved blade on their skates that further enhances their technique.
