Saint-Ouen, France, 19 July 2013 In order to provide its clients with an advanced and highly efficient 2D and stereoscopic 3D DI and colour grading service, LevelS3D, one of France's upcoming facilities, has invested in a Mistika 2K DI and Stereoscopic 3D system from SGO to meet high-level demand. Defined as one of the most powerful 2D and 3D post production tools in the industry for commercials, feature films and broadcast, Mistika will play an integral role in supporting LevelS3D's project workflow and in attracting new client le to the company.
With headquarters based in Commune Image, a hub of young creative audiovisual companies in St-Ouen, forward-thinking company LevelS3D recently launched its own top-of-the-range fully equipped 2D-4K-S3D post production studio. Mistika was put straight to work at LevelS3D on the post production of 11-minute animated short film Mr Hublot, produced by Zeilt Production and Arte, and directed by Laurent Witz and Alexander Espirages. Mistika's advanced next generation colour grading capabilities and industry leading Stereo 3D toolsets were put to the test for the first time at the new company, resulting in a stunning outcome. The film recently received the well-respected Grand Prix S3D Seine-Saint-Denis award at the Dimension 3 Festival in Paris last month.
Mistika will be used for all of LevelS3D's work which includes 2D and stereo 3D corporate films, documentaries and feature films. LevelS3D boasts two state of the art, leading-edge dedicated high-end suites, Le Cin and Le Loft. Le Cin consists of an impressive 168-seat cinema theatre suite equipped with a 5.1 surround sound system and a Sony 4K digital projector. The room's versatility with its 3 by 6.5m-screen, can also easily be converted into a Stereo 3D grading and projection room with a Dolby system to accommodate various projects. The second suite Le Loft hosts the Mistika 2K, HD, S3D grading and projection room and is equipped with a Christie projection system.
LevelS3D's new Mistika will not just be perceived as an advanced Stereo 3D tool, but also as a complete post production system, which is made up of highly developed 2D tools which include editing, conforming, image restoration, compositing, colour grading, multi mastering and DCP for both 3D and 2D. Mistika will form the central core of the workflow process during each post project, further demonstrating how having a Mistika, enhances a quality driven business and provides quality service, based on its unrivalled speed and superior functionality.
