Junior Scheduler

Ensure that all football is scheduled as per rights agreement in each respective territory, Special Focus on Scheduling of all American Sport,

Liaison with programming departments of all right holders and/or 3rd party suppliers

Ensure that all channels are optimized to maximize the broadcast of Live matches as well as repeats

Ensure that all relevant and current information is filled and kept up to date at all times on all relevant channels across all territories.

Ensure that all schedules are sent out to all business units

Execute program changes and advise other disciplines constantly and immediately of changes

Responsible for ensuring Electronic Program Guide contains relevant descriptors

Attend all Scheduling status and General Production Meetings

Education & Experience

Matric / Grade 12

Excellent knowledge of American Sport.

General Sport knowledge is essential

Computer literate

Knowledge and understanding of Synergy will be an advantage

Business insight and understanding

Experience in Programming or Scheduling will be an advantage

Creative and flexible

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Good co-ordination skills and attention to detail

Innovative thinking

Customer service oriented

Team player

Good Problem Solving Skills

A sound knowledge of American Sport including: American Football, ice Hockey, Baseball and Basketball.

Understanding of what programming is important in the different territories
