NewTek TriCaster Brings Live Streaming Capabilities to the Victoria and Albert Museum

(27/09/2013) The NewTek TriCaster 455 live production system has been chosen by the world renowned Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London to stream live events as part of its Digital FuturePlan, an ongoing project to enhance the museum's visitor and online experiences.

The Museum purchased TriCaster equipment to live-stream its events, such as fashion shows and talks on current exhibitions, via the Museum's video channels that are embedded onto its various Websites. In addition, the V&A team will use TriCaster to stream content to projectors and screens throughout the Museum, and provide video feeds to external Websites. In July 2013, the V&A debuted its live streaming capability by delivering the Jenny Packham Fashion in Motion event from the Museum bringing the excitement and spectacle of the high fashion catwalk to a wider audience.
