ESPN Announces Extensive English- and Spanish-Language World Cup 2026 Coverage

ESPN will provide English- and Spanish-language news and information coverage of FIFA World Cup 2026 across its U.S. media platforms from June 11 through July 19. Coverage will originate from studios in Bristol, New York (7 Hudson Square and South Street Seaport), Mexico City (rooftop overlooking Estadio Azteca), the NFL Network studios in Los Angeles, and subset studios in Fort Lauderdale, Kansas City, and Guadalajara.

The coverage roster includes 17 former World Cup players, led by Men's World Cup champions Mario Kempes, Juergen Klinsmann, and Frank Leboeuf; two-time Women's World Cup champion Ali Krieger; and former World Cup players Steve McManaman, Hugo S nchez, Ricardo Pel ez, Jared Borgetti, Francisco Gabriel de Anda, Sebasti n Loco Abreu, Craig Burley, Shaka Hislop, Steve Nicol, Kasey Keller, Jermaine Jones, Herculez Gomez, and Jan Aage Fjortoft.

English-Language Coverage

ESPN FC will headline English-language coverage with 42 daily episodes, including ESPN FC World Cup Morning (9 a.m. on ESPN2) and ESPN FC World Cup Night following the last game of each day. Coverage concludes July 20 with a recap show on ESPN2 and ESPN+. Hosted by Dan Thomas, Alexis Nunes, Kay Murray, and Kevin Egan from Bristol, New York, and Los Angeles, ESPN FC will feature analysts including Klinsmann, Leboeuf, Krieger, McManaman, Burley, Hislop, Nicol, Keller, Jones, Gomez, Fjortoft, Nedum Onuoha, Mario Su rez, Kieran Gibbs, Alejandro Moreno, Don Hutchison, and Stewart Robson. The reporting team includes Gab Marcotti, Mark Ogden, James Olley, Julien Laurens, Archie Rhind-Tutt, Adrian Healey, Jeff Carlisle, and Sam Borden.

SportsCenter will deliver daily tournament coverage with highlights, news, analysis, and reporting. Geoff Cameron and Brek Shea will contribute throughout the tournament; Jeremy Schaap and Sam Borden will cover the USMNT and key storylines. Special editions of F tbol Americas featuring Nunez, Cristina Alexander, Gomez, Keller, Jones, and Klinsmann will air two hours before kickoff on ESPN2 ahead of the first two USMNT group stage matches.

ESPN.com will have 11 reporters on the ground, with Carlisle and Borden embedded with the USMNT.

Digital Originals

Flavors of the Game with Bobby Flay: Five-episode series with Food Network's Bobby Flay, Nunes, and Krieger covering the culinary traditions of nations in the tournament. Rolls out through the group stage.

Chris Turner raps with the fans: Freestyle rapper and comedian Chris Turner will produce content with fans of nations competing in the tournament.

Red, White and Clueless: Animated feature produced with Marvel revisiting the USMNT's 1994 FIFA World Cup run, narrated by Will Reeve.

Spanish-Language Coverage

ESPN Deportes will average more than 14 hours per day of live studio coverage throughout the tournament, with daily editions of SportsCenter, F tbol Picante, Equipo F, ESPN Enfocados, Generaci n F tbol, and Ahora o Nunca.

Goool Morning Live (9 a.m.): Daily morning show hosted by Miguel Sim n, Antonio Casale, Teo Coquet, Andr s Lacouture, and Jorge Baravalle.

SportsCenter: Live editions at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m., and 1 a.m. during the group stage.

F tbol Picante (3 p.m., 11 p.m., midnight): Pre- and post-match coverage around every Mexico match.

Equipo F (4 p.m.): Daily analysis of key performances and results.

Generaci n F tbol (7 p.m.): Analysis, debate, and entertainment.

Ahora o Nunca (9 p.m.): Nightly recap with pre- and post-match coverage around every USMNT match. Anchored by Mauricio Pedroza, G mez, Fernando Palomo, Barak Fever, Alex Pareja, Pilar P rez, Carolina De Las Salas, Mario Su rez, Kempes, Eduardo Biscayart, Bernardo Osuna, and Mart n Ainstein.

ESPN Deportes will have more than 25 on-air personalities providing analysis, led by Kempes, S nchez, Pel ez, Borgetti, de Anda, and Abreu. ESPN+ World Cup Specials

Last Train to North America: Nine-episode documentary travelogue series with journalist Mart n Ainstein traveling by rail across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada during World Cup preparations.

Messi: The Forgotten Tape / Messi: La Cinta Olvidada: ESPN Films documentary about a VHS tape featuring a 16-year-old Messi at FC Barcelona that helped secure his future with the Argentina National Team.

ESPN Deportes Creator Network

ESPN Deportes is launching a Global World Cup Creator Network featuring Lucas Cordeiro, Sophia y Mauro, Patrick Vel, and Janella Hernandez producing social-first content on World Cup culture, fandom, food, fashion, and music. ESPN Deportes digital and social content teams will be based in Miami and Los Angeles.
