iStopMotion for iPad . Updated with WebDAV Support and Push Notifications

Boinx Software has just released iStopMotion for iPad 2.1. The latest update to the software company's stop motion animation app for the iPad 2 or higher now offers WebDAV support and push notifications. With WebDAV support, teachers using iStopMotion for iPad to enhance the curriculum can easily set up a local server to collect work created on multiple iPads, allowing students to collaborate on class- or school-wide projects. This eliminates the need for a cloud service such as YouTube or Dropbox, which is especially important since using the cloud is often restricted in many schools.

Users can now enable the new push notifications feature in both iStopMotion for iPad and the iStopMotion Remote Camera app (available for iPhone 4 and newer, iPod touch 4th generation and newer, iPad 2 and newer, and iPad mini) to receive an alert whenever great new iStopMotion examples are available in the Theater, so they do not need to check periodically themselves.
