ViBE encoder family

Thomson Video Networks presents fixed and mobile contribution and distribution solutions with multi-format live video contribution platforms: ViBE EM4000 multi-channel HD/SD encoder, EM2000 SD encoder, and CP6000/6100.

With a density offering of eight HD MPEG-4 AVC channels in a 1-RU chassis and MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC compression, the ViBE EM4000 delivers supreme bandwidth savings and high video quality.

The ViBE CP6000 offers leading compression performance in contribution applications and features eight HD channels per 1RU chassis, with a modular implementation of the optimal MPEG-4 contribution codecs.

The CP6100 is intended for space-constrained applications and serves the same purpose in a compact half-rack platform.

Ad Insertion Solutions

A strong and cost-effective turnkey playout and ad insertion solution will be demonstrated with the integration of Thomson s Sapphire MPEG stream server with Ideal Systems SoftCast software.

Sapphire is a unique system with cutting-edge capture, playout, and ad insertion capabilities, allowing users to ingest, process, brand, and generate ready for air TV channels and frame-accurate operation for MPEG-2 and H.264 compressed content.

ViBE VS7000 video system

The ViBE VS7000, powered by Thomson s MediaFlex v3.0 video operating system, can process up to 448 SD channels or 80 HD channels in a single frame. Due to a 40 percent increase in channel density.

With live broadcast-quality encoding, advanced video pre-processing and file transcoding speeds which are faster than real-time, the ViBE VS7000 enables broadcasters to deliver exceptional picture quality for packaged OTT and IPTV offerings.
