Telekom makes 1000 Mbps fixed-line internet access available to residential, SMB and large enterprise customers alike in all geographical areas where fiber optic networks have already been put in place, which enables superfast fixed-line down and uploads.

There are currently more than 500 000 households in Hungary, where the 1000 Mbps 1 NetMania service becomes available from November, and the territory covered by fiber optics is constantly increasing as a result of the ongoing development projects. Both new customers and existing subscribers of NetMania packages, as well as those who now use the Magenta 1 package may opt for the package offering 1000 Mpbs speeds.

The 1000 Mpbs bandwidth service is especially favorable for businesses, as the greater download and upload speeds enable even greater stability and quicker work processes, even when the same bandwidth is shared by multiple devices. Telekom makes its 1 gigabit fiber optic internet available as part of any packages within its total SMB service portfolio, including Magenta 1 Business, too. Magyar Telekom's affiliate, T-Systems Hungary contributes by providing business solutions including also the 1000 Mbps fixed internet service to large enterprises and institutions.

Carefree internet use assumes sufficient bandwidth for the increasing number of devices that are connected to the net wirelessly, too. Therefore, our technicians shall deliver and install AC-standard WiFi routers to all customers who order the 1000 Mpbs package, enabling much greater wireless bandwidth than they have been used to, so far, going up to even 250-300 Mbps.
