Grass Valley Introduces the Latest Software Version of K-Frame for Kayenne and Karrera Video Production Center Switchers

Hillsboro, Ore., September 13, 2013 Grass Valley will demonstrate the latest version of its K-Frame modular video processing engine with increased user flexibility for both Kayenne and Karrera Video Production Center switchers, at the IBC exhibition in Amsterdam. K-Frames upgrades include internal video clip storage and playback, greater macro flexibility, and an M/E multi-previewer function to meet the demands of todays live productions.

Since its release in June 2013, K-Frame has been installed in more than 75 production facilities worldwide. K-Frames support for the Kayenne and Karrera switchers are built on a modular approach, provide simple upgradability, enable more efficient operations, simplify workflows and offer easy configuration and setup. The adaptability and flexibility of the K-Frame system is suitable for both mobile and fixed facility production environments.
